Stove
Top FireStop Automatic Fire Extinguisher Program
The Winter Springs Fire Department will install free of charge a
StoveTop FireStop Automatic Fire Extinguisher for residents who
qualify. The Department received a $5000.00 grant from the Allstate
Insurance Company to purchase cooking stove fire extinguisher devices.
These devices are for residents who are elderly and live alone,
are disabled or have had past stovetop fires. For information please

Child
and Infant Seat Safety Checks
Firefighters from the Winter Springs Fire Department have been trained
to perform child and infant safety seat checks. If you need assistance
to properly secure your child or infant safety seat, stop by either
fire station and our firefighters will be happy to help you. |

The Winter Springs Fire Department offers CPR and first aid classes.

Sharps
Container Program
The Winter Springs Fire Department in cooperation with Seminole
County Solid Waste Division offers – FREE OF CHARGE –
sharps containers for used needles and a disposal program. Simply
come to the fire station, pick up a container and return it when
it is ¾ full. REMEMBER DO NOT FILL THE CONTAINER PAST THE
FULL LINE. THE BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE TRANSPORT COMPANY WILL NOT ACCEPT
CONTAINERS THAT HAVE BEEN OVERFILLED |

Detector Program
Does your smoke detector work? Call the Winter Springs Fire Department
at (407) 327-7562 for a free home survey. If you need a smoke detector,
one will be provided free of charge. |

Springs Tennis Programs - BRADSTREET TENNIS - The City of Winter
Springs Parks and Recreation & Bradstreet Tennis offer a variety
of tennis classes, clinics, & leagues for youth and adults of
all ages. Classes offered at Trotwood Park Tennis Courts. Call Bradstreet
Tennis for specific details on cost, instruction times & days
and level of play. To register, call Bradstreet Tennis at 407-262-2170
or Winter Springs Parks & Recreation Monday through Friday from
8am-5pm at 407-327-6589. Other
on-going registrations at Tuscawilla Tennis Center for youth (ages
6 and older) and adult classes. Monthly on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm.
The cost is $40 per month for hour-long lessons weekly. Sponsored

Golf Club for youth (ages 6 and older) and adult classes. Monthly
on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. The cost is $40 per month for hour-long

Springs Youth Basketball League Programs - Winter Springs Basketball
League Recreational League play is offered for boys and girls of
all skill levels in grades K – HS. You may register on line
at www.wsbl.com,
or come to Central Winds Park anytime Monday – Friday from
8am – 5pm. There are Winter and Spring seasons, (Nov.-May).
We also offer Summer Basketball Camps. For more information or for

The Casselberry Parks and Recreation Department offers "Wirz
on Wednesdays" programs from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Wirz Park Recreation
